Antique piano phenomenally kept!
This has a lot of local history and is a beautiful sounding piano as well as talking piece. The Christman Piano Company was located in New York City and was originally established by Peter Christman in 1885 and incorporated by his sons in 1911. They built pianos up until 1929. Christman was known for building high grade, expensive pianos that boasted lavish, exotic woods. Due to the fact that Christman pianos were so expensive when new, they were only sold in modest numbers and are quite rare today.
The Christman 'Studio' baby grand made a noteworthy success in the industry. It is a little over 5 feet long but uses tone power comparable with the effects of the larger concert grand pianos. Please email for any questions!
