Description: The instrument was restored to mint condition in October 2024 by the Steinway Piano Gallery in Nashville, TN. The genuine specie woods used are, hard rock maple, Alaskan and Bavarian spruce, poplar, birch and open pore mahogany for the face banding veneers. The finish is a hand rubbed satin Mahogany open pore finish. The restoration included the replacement of all action components, both the top stack and underlever assembly, the damper felts, agraffes, tuning pins, strings, painting and stenciling of the plate, resurfacing and varnishing of the soundboard. The piano is carefully stored in a climate-controlled facility and available to viewing upon request. This is a beautiful example of a mint condition Steinway with a rich history.
